It is with immense pride and heartfelt gratitude that I present the Annual Report for the academic year 2024–2025 — a year that holds special significance as we celebrate the 25th anniversary of our school. Completing 25 years is not just a milestone; it is a reflection of a journey shaped by dreams, dedication, and determination.
From humble beginnings in 2001, our school has grown into a vibrant institution of learning, character-building, and innovation. Over the years, we have nurtured thousands of young minds and empowered them to grow into responsible citizens and global achievers. This Silver Jubilee marks a moment to celebrate our legacy and renew our commitment to excellence.
These years, our students have achieved remarkable results in academic assessments. The performance in board exams has been commendable, with many students securing top positions. We have continued to uphold high academic standards while fostering creativity and curiosity in our classrooms.
Our students have excelled not only in academics but also in co-curricular and extracurricular domains. Participation and victories in inter-school sports competitions, debates, art festivals have brought laurels to our school. The enthusiasm and talent of our students continue to inspire us.
In these 25 years, several new facilities were added — including smart classrooms, Chh. Shivaji Maharaj Auditorium, a library, upgraded science, geography, mathematics, languages labs. These initiatives are a step forward in preparing our school for the future while staying rooted in our values.
This journey of 25 years would not have been possible without the unwavering support of our Chairman Chorge Sir, teachers, non teaching staff, parents, alumni, and students. I extend my deepest thanks to each one of you. Your belief in our mission has been our greatest strength.
As we step into the next chapter of our school’s journey, let us continue to aim higher, dream bigger, and work harder. May the foundation built over these 25 years guide us toward greater success and service in the years to come.
With warm wishes and gratitude,
Mrs. Sheela Velhal

‘Come to learn and go to serve ‘is our Motto. As our organisation’s Motto is, we develop our students accordingly. Therefore, with great pride, we can say that our students are serving in various fields on responsible positions. In this academic year, our board of directors built a new building with fully equipped classrooms for junior college. It’s a proud moment for us as we have our first batch of junior college students learning in our school. We have also installed GPS tracking system in all our Student transportation vehicles for ensuring student safety. We also feel proud about the appreciation presented by sports department of government of Maharashtra, for maximum students participating in school games held this year. Being a part of Gurukul Family, I have witnessed the progress of the organisation as we celebrate Silver Jubilee year in this academic year. I respect the dedication of board of directors and the President of the organisation. Mr. Rajendra Chorge and secretary, Mr. Anand Gurav towards the organisation. Their dedication is always an inspiration for me. I am very grateful to students, parents and teachers of Gurukul as they play a key role in overall development of school. I feel very honoured to serve Gurukul School to the best of my dedication, as I feel very proud to be ” The Sevak of Gurukul”.
Thank you!

Jai Hind!
Greetings!
It was first June 2008 when I stepped in the school. Honestly, it wouldn’t be astonishing to imagine how the situations would have been in the late 2008. The building was not very overwhelming, quite not popular, with a decent number of students. But I was happy to get fellow colleagues who welcomed me in their most appealing way. Before joining Gurukul, I have had an experience of five years in the teaching profession. No sooner did it become my passion rather than
profession. Each day felt like a new beginning.
From 2008, the school got an opportunity to excel in the world of excellence, as our President of Gurukul Education Society took the responsibility of school management. He is a man of vision, who dreamt of a better tomorrow by utilizing this great opportunity to make Gurukul a place to transform every student into a wonderful citizen of our nation.
With construction of new school building the older one was also going through infrastructural ammendments. The number of students grew and so did the staff. The overall development of school paced up.
Over the years, I have had the privilege to witness countless transformations. I’ve seen students walk in as shy children and walk out as confident young individuals ready to face challenges of the world. I’ve watched colleagues become lifelong friends, and classrooms turn into laboratories of ideas, creativity, and character-building.
From shouldering the responsibility of a Supervisor to the Secondary Section In-charge and then The Vice Principal of Secondary Section, the journey hasn’t always been easy, but it has always been worth it. Every challenge brought a new lesson, every success a reason to smile. Together, we’ve celebrated victories, innovated through change, and built a legacy rooted in values, passion, and excellence.
As we celebrate this silver jubilee, I feel deeply honored to have contributed to the growth and spirit of this school. Here’s to 25 years of shaping lives, inspiring minds, and building a community that continues to shine. May the coming years be even more glorious.
Forever grateful,
Mrs. Sonali Tamboli
Vice Principal, Gurukul Secondary School, Satara
